Gentle Art Of Leadership Podcast – Joseph Adkison

Introduction

Joseph is a father and young entrepreneur who has overcome significant challenges to achieve success. Growing up in the ghetto, his parents worked hard to provide him with better opportunities. Initially, he dreamed of playing football, but when that didn’t work out, he found himself joining a motorcycle club. Realizing he was on the wrong path, he left the club and started working hard at many different jobs, including security at the Aztec Theater, where he met Matt Shoup. An unexpected act of kindness became a turning point for Joseph, who decided to take accountability for his life and work towards a better future. Today he works hard selling health insurance and has started a nonprofit organization called the Lions Den, a group of entrepreneurs supporting each other.
