Gentle Art of Leadership Podcast – Andrew Johnson

Introduction

Andrew Johnson is a Jesus follower, farmer, husband, father, and entrepreneur whose journey has been anything but conventional. Inheriting a farm, he embraced the challenges of farm life while also pursuing his passion for fitness—starting a business to help others achieve their health goals. Before fully stepping into farming and entrepreneurship, Andrew was a dancer and even worked as a dance instructor. Eventually, he retired from dance to prioritize his family, but the transition left him struggling with direction, leading to a period of alcohol abuse, weight gain, and complacency. Determined to turn things around, Andrew discovered a love for self-improvement and coaching others through their own transformations. He found creative ways to keep people accountable, including using an app that required individuals to donate money to a rival or an anti-charity if they didn’t meet their goals. Now, Andrew is focused on building connections and creating synergy—helping people by introducing them to others who can support their growth. His story is one of resilience, reinvention, and the power of community.
