Gentle Art of Leadership Podcast – Dave Albin

Introduction

Dave Albin is a husband, father, entrepreneur, and Vietnam veteran with an incredible story of resilience and transformation. After a bombshell revelation at age 5, Dave’s life took a dramatic turn leading to addiction at just 10 years old. As he aged, his struggles with addiction only grew, leading to a spiraling life of drugs, alcohol, and destructive habits. By his third marriage, Dave hit rock bottom, and was ready to end his life, but a moment of clarity led him to Alcoholics Anonymous, where he found hope and began his recovery journey. A Tony Robbins commercial sparked a new chapter in Dave’s life, where he eventually became the the global firewalk captain for Tony Robbins, and set a world record in 2005 for leading 12,300 people in a firewalk. Now, Dave runs his own company, Fire Walk Productions, helping others push through their fears and focus on what they can control in life.
